Anybody have plans to stare at their phone somewhere exciting this weekend?
Anytime I visit someplace new, hell, or just needing to pick up some groceries at my local convenience store, I notice that people have become so absorbed by their cell phones. I’ve been known to do to the same, but not when walking in the parking lot of Wal-Mart where it’s easy to get run over by other pathetic drivers.
Has anyone else ever taken a moment to look up from the screens, just to realize you are surrounded by mere copies of yourself?
Well considering that most people are either texting while driving, on a date and checking Facebook or Foursquare, at a family reunion and playing Words With Friends, or talking on a cell phone in the middle of the movie theater, it’s hard not to get a tad aggravated by technology today.
